[Thinbsd] What have I missed

Have followed the instructions on website, what am I missing that is
probably obvious?

1) unpacked boot file to my tftp server - /opt 

why two boot folders  in directory ?

2)  Copied mfsroot-latest.gz in my tftp directory /opt and renamed it
to mfsroot.gz

on booting /boot/kernel/kernel starts as usual then

loading mfsroot...
can't find '/mfsroot'

Hit [enter] to boot immediately, ......


I know that my tftp server works ok - it will boot 350 + LTSP
workstations into rdesktop (but I want more speed..) Any help
gratefully received.
